Tricia Wente

Tricia Heiser Wente, an exhibiting artist since 1966, has produced over 600 commissioned portrait paintings, in addition to numerous landscape paintings created either in studio or plein air. This award-winning artist has participated in over 150 juried national and regional shows, produced 14 one-person shows, and been included in gallery exhibits in OH, IN, KY, IL, MO, NC, CO and CA. Works in all mediums, hang in corporate, public and private collections in Korea, China, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, England, and the entire United States.
Currently, the artist is a member of the Hoosier Salon, Indiana Artists Club,Inc., International Society of Acrylic Painters, Bloomington's Experimental Artist Group and is a signature member of the Bloomington Watercolor Society (BWS). She served as BWS president in 2007, and has been the BWS show chair since the group's inception in 2005. Tricia is a fine arts graduate of Miami University, Oxford, OH, with graduate work at Marshall University in Huntington, WVA, docent training at the Huntington Museum of Art, Huntington, WVA., and has studied with many well-known artists in a variety of workshops.
In addition to teaching private and group art lessons and actively participating in area arts organizations, she continues to exhibit works in juried exhibitions.
