Carol Rhodes
I have been painting in watercolor for the past 15 years. Painting time is precious to me, since I devote more than full time hours to teaching and developing graphic design and Photoshop classes to Indiana University and the surrounding community.
I am a computer graphic design instructor and training materials developer, as well as graphic designer for local businesses. During the past 12 years, my classes and workshops have included: Electronic Publishing for IU School of Journalism (graduate and undergraduate credit); Photoshop for IU School of Education (K-12 Education masters students); Visualizing Your Art Electronically, for IU Continuing Studies; and Photoshop and Scanning for IU Continuing Studies.
I am a founding member of Bloomington Watercolor Society, and have studied watercolor with Brown County artists Shelley Frederick and Sally Steele. I have also dabbled in pottery (using a wheel), hoping to eventually get the hang of
painting designs onto ceramic surfaces. Since my recent purchase of a good camera that allows me to be creative, I consider photographic and digital art to be my next frontier.
